Palo Santo
The Garden of Light
A cousin of the Sandalwood tree, Palo Santo is used for sacred ceremony by the Indigenous communities in Ecuador and Peru. Our supplier, Sacred Wood Essence, has a direct relationship with an Ecuadorian tribe, ensuring that the trees are never mistreated. The traditional process is to leave naturally fallen branches to cure on the forest floor for 4-5 years before being cut for use. The sticks are carried, held or burnt from one end to enjoy the pure, sweet, purifying wood-fragrance.
